Meet The Founders

Yes, it’s true – we scoop poop. But DOOEZY is about so much more than that.

DOOEZY was founded in 2025 by Jacob and Beth Semadeni, a husband-and-wife determined to bring an innovative solution to their community. Jacob grew up in Utah and graduated from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Human Resources. Beth, a native of Roosevelt, Utah, brought her deep love for the Basin community into their shared vision.

Shortly after Jacob graduated, the couple moved back to the Basin, eager to start a business together. One evening, they decided they wouldn’t stop brainstorming until they landed on a solid business idea. Three hours (and countless ideas) later, DOOEZY was born.

The inspiration? Seeing the constant frustration of their friends and family trying to keep up with the never-ending chore of cleaning up after their dogs. Jacob and Beth quickly realized this wasn’t a unique struggle—it was a messy, time-consuming task that many people faced. They saw an opportunity to transform this unpleasant chore into a convenient and affordable service, giving families cleaner yards, healthier pets, and a safer environment to enjoy.
